Glebe House is looking to recruit a Team Leader to join the team. This is a full-time, 38.75 hours/week role.
 

£13.10 per hour

Shifts: 7:15 AM – 8:30 PM, 8:15 PM – 7:30 AM

Glebe House is a residential service located in the Georgian market town of Caistor, near Marken Rasen, Lincolnshire. The home supports 24 people with mental health needs. We are located semi-rurally, on the north-west edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. We aim to support our residents to build their daily living skills, enabling them to achieve greater independence. Our team are dedicated to supporting the people who live here to live a healthier and happier life.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Team Leader, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
 

  • Supervises and supports the delivery of person-centred support and care, ensuring that the people who use our service have any personal needs or requirements met; including personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living tasks.
  • Supervises and coaches support workers in delivery and supports people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
  • Support staff to maintain effective professional relationships with the people who use the service, their families, colleagues, outside agencies and other professionals referring any issues to senior staff as appropriate.
  • Role modelling the Adult Care Positive Culture Pledge and ensuring it is embedded in practice along with the principles of care.

 

What you’ll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
 

  • Previous experience in a care or supported living role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a related area, or an equivalent or higher recognised qualification, OR a minimum of NVQ Level 2 with a commitment to commence the attainment process within six months of joining, and a specified timeframe to achieve NVQ Level 3 qualification.
