Job Description

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. 

You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.

We are looking for positive, energetic, organised, compassionate and proactive individual to join our team as Senior Support Worker. Covering our Millburn service the ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of leading the House team on the day. We need someone with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload with the skill and ability to produce rotas, supervise support staff on the floor and update care plans, complete good quality daily records and complete all other required forms and records. 
We need someone who puts our residents needs and wellbeing at the core of what they do who is willing to go the extra mile for them. If this is you then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Location Information

Millburn is located in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our home offers residential support for 20 people with a variety of needs, including autistic adults and people with a learning disability. We can also support individuals with mental health and physical health needs. Our staff are dedicated to supporting the people we care for to increase their participation, independence, socialisation, and communication, so they can lead happy and healthy lives.

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland, and the cost of this will be covered by Priory.
